There are three separate setups types for EZDent-i. The console installation will either be on a acquisition computer however the data might be located locally to the Console will always be on the Capture PC regardless of Database location. Server Installation will only be of the Postgree SQL and Vtfilemanager and Workstation installations go on computers other than the Console (Capture PC) or Server.
EzServer must first be installed onto the computer to host the data; in order to install the PostgreSQL which works as the data base server and VTFileManager as the image data base. Once EzServer and all of its components are installed (Consult Data, and Implant DB) we can move onto installing EzDent-i as a “Console” on the acquisition computer where the Vatech extra-oral device is located. This will also install the “VTFileManager Agent” which allows communication between our EzDent-I software and NCSW. Any other computers such as OP’s and office workstations can be installed as “Client” to view the images.
